Design of piping systems

1. ABS: Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene is one of the strongest plastics that is mostly used for piping residential buildings. ABS pipes are black and softer than PVC. These pipes are mainly recommended for cold drainage systems.

3. HDPE: High density polyethylene is so hard and durable that it can be used for almost all piping needs. Pipes made of HDPE can reduce water pressure, as they have very little friction and water flows easily inside them.

4. PEX: Cross-linked polyethylene is used in home plumbing systems to transfer hot and cold water, as well as in kitchen and freshwater bath systems. PEX pipes are generally classified by color, so they can easily distinguish between hot and cold water lines.

5. PVC: Polyvinyl chloride is the most widely used type of plastic in the manufacture of pipes and is used in the manufacture of pipes and fittings as well as large size pipes. This plastic is usually not very useful for high temperatures, because its edges shrink. This material has many uses in the construction of pressure pipes (under pressure).

6. UPVC: An extended version of PVC that does not use fabric softener. PVC pipes are very light weight and are very resistant to temperature, chemicals and impact.
